If you do not have the level of assumed knowledge, you are not prevented from enrolling but you may be placed at a considerable disadvantage. If you have not achieved the recommended level of assumed knowledge you are strongly advised to undertake a bridging course or other appropriate preparation. For information on available bridging courses call the UNSW Admissions Office on 1300 368 679. UNSW also offers introductory-level subjects in physics and chemistry which can be taken in the first year of study. Undertaking an introductory subject may extend the total time for completion of the degree.
