Sub Sea Stack
Deepwater drilling operations using a dynamic positioned drill ship in water depths of 5000 feet plus was record breaking in August 1979. Today deep water drilling depths of over 7500 feet are being achieved.
The National Drilling and Well Control Programme presently specialises in extreme deep water well control techniques.
