Admission to the Undergraduate Program in Petroleum Engineering for 2010 a) Direct Entry All local applicants must apply through the University Admissions Centre (UAC). Your ATAR can be used to gain entry into University: * The bonus point system rewards students who perform well in Australian Senior Secondary Certificate courses that are relevant to their preferred UNSW program. Details on UNSW website ** FEAS (Faculty of Engineering Admissions Scheme): Submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering for an interview to maximise your opportunity for admission. Details are available on UNSW website. b) Alternative Entry DIPSET (Diploma of Science, Engineering and Technology) DipSET is a diploma program that provides a flexible pathway for students who show the potential to study engineering, but who have a range of gaps in their assumed knowledge and consequently do not meet the necessary entry requirements for Engineering and Science.
