Facilities available to students studying at the School of Petroleum Engineering (SCOPE) include a large laboratory containing the latest equipment for industrial chemistry, geology, physics and mathematical analysis. These facilities give students practical experience of the application of advanced technology used in petroleum engineering.

Two computer rooms and the latest software are available for training. Class sizes are small and SCOPE uses its own boardroom for presentations and seminars, both for students and representatives from industry.

SCOPE also has its own parking area and entertainment areas for end-of-semester BBQs and student and industry events.
